If there is one thing the political pundits agree on its that the forthcoming elections are the hardest to predict in at least 30 years.
The recent revelations about MPs expenses and the apparent attempts of a handful of them to avoid paying taxes has, quite rightly, angered the British public.
Whilst the Liberal Democrats have come out of this with their honour largely intact, some people clearly believe it's a "plague on all your houses".
There is some evidence that the despite the efforts of the spin doctors over the past ten years today the Tories are viewed as totally out of touch landed gentry, whilst Labour seem to be on the make.
Overall MPs appear to be incapable of completing expenses claims forms accurately!
There is a very real risk that UKIP and the BNP (who its reported had discussions over an electoral pact) could benefit from the disillusionment, from either switching voters or a lower turnout.
