Apology

In an article "The race is on at last" we stated that that local Tories were receiving money from the Non-Dom tax avoiding Lord Ashcroft.
We also stated that paid Trade Union staff and money are being used by the local Labour campaign.
We would like to withdraw the comment that paid trade union staff are being used, as it would be unlawful for them to do so. Trade Union staff may, of course, support Labour or any other parties campaigns in their free time.
We would like to apologise and we hope this clarification is helpful.
We would also like to point out the Exeter Tories have yet to tell us how much they have received from Ashcroft/Tory Central Office.
