Caption in front of a polling station sign: Tell Labour Democracy Delayed is Democracy Denied.

Don't let Labour take away your right to vote.

The Labour Minister has cancelled Exeter's scheduled elections this May, following a request by the Exeter Labour leader due to lack of capacity.

This is despite every other party and the Electoral Commission condemning the move. Plus, Devon County Council and Teignbridge District Council offering capacity.

Clearly, Labour are running scared of the public after failing to win any seats in last year's Devon County Council elections.

Don't let them get away with it. Sign the petition below to have your say this May.

We will have our say!

Exeter Labour have requested the 2026 city council elections are cancelled. Every other party and the Electoral Commission have opposed this move. The elections were already scheduled and budgeted for. Labour are simply running scared of the electorate, having won zero seats last year.
