Three Exeter Lib Dems stand, physically-distanced and with masks on, on Prospect Park. The one closest to the camera holds up a canvassing card.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in the local election campaign.

We are proud of our positive campaigning, putting forward a brighter vision for Exeter in some of the most uncertain times.

We have increased our vote share in Duryard & St James, but we were unable to dislodge Labour from the seat, meaning the ward now has 2 Lib Dem Cllrs and 1 Labour.

Similarly, we have improved our vote share and number of votes to a strong second in St Thomas and +14% in Pennsylvania.

The Progressive Group was the only Council Group to increase in membership: 5 PG, 6 Tories, and 28 Labour.

We will continue to hold the Labour administration to account for its actions and speak up on behalf of local residents.
