Lib Dem Campaigner Adrian Fullam Finally Secures Cowick St Bench Repairs

Thanks to campaigning by Adrian Fullam and the St Thomas Lib Dem team, the Cowick Street benches have finally been repaired!

The benches were sadly neglected by the City Council for a long while, with missing and rotting slats. This definitely did not reflect our ambition for the community. St Thomas deserves better.

Repairs to the Riverside Leisure Centre, the Pinces Gardens gatehouse and the Cowick Street benches were all taking forever to complete.

Liberal Democrats have been campaigning on these issues and embarrassing the council to get this work done. We will keep up the pressure on the council to thrust our communities’ priorities higher up the list.
