Labour back Tory cuts yet again on Devon County Council

On Devon County Council, Labour again joined Conservatives to vote through their budget and cuts to county services. Labour also voted against the Lib Dem amendment to pay for more pothole repairs and 20mph zones in communities that want them.

"Opposition leader, Lib Dem Julian Brazil, took issue at Cllr Twiss being "proud of the budget. "I'd be embrarrassed about this budget" he said... "for the sake of the people of Devon, now is the time to turn around and say 'enough is enough' to central govermment.""
